Another new single drive from ABB is the ACS880-17 is designed with fast and minimal space installation along with their notable cost and energy savings.

This custom built single AC drive comes in it’s own air cooled cabinet and is designed to control induction motors, synchronous motors, induction servo motors and ABB synchronous reluctance (SynRM) motors.

The ACS880-17 drive uses regenerative functionality through the braking system allowing no energy to be wasted as heat. This will allow even more energy savings for your application.
