ACS580 - Part of the All-Compatible series
The ACS580 is an all-compatible ABB general purpose drive, offered in a range of wall-mounted and cabinet-built drives. It turns complicated to simple and controls processes productively and efficiently. The drive controls a wide range of applications in different industries and yet it requires very little setting up or commissioning.
Wall-mounted Type 1 and 12 drives
The ACS580-01 is conveniently available from 1 to 350 HP and at 208/230, 460 and 575 Volts. Side-by-side mounting, flange mounting and horizontal mounting, the small size provides significant space savings.
UL Type 4X Drives
The ACS580 UL Type 4X drive is designed for areas with water exposure and outdoor use, such as agriculture, food, and beverage. Frequent cleaning with common sanitizers and hose rinsing is no problem for this NSF169 certified drive. It also performs reliably where cleaning is infrequent, and mud, dust, and soil contact is possible.
Drive with disconnect Type 1, 12 and 3R
The ACS580-0P is packaged with either a circuit breaker or disconnect switch and includes fast acting fuses. Also available is a classic two-contactor bypass design with optional service switch.
Cabinet-built Type 12 drives
The ACS580-07 cabinets are available in the US from 200 to 700 HP, are compact in size, include flange mounting and optimized cooling systems as standard. The simple and robust design ensures reliable operation even in harsh environments.
